Social Media ist auf dem Vormarsch. Yammer ist ähnlich zu Chatter eine Microblogging Plattform, welche von geschlossenen Benutzergruppen (Firmen, Organisationen, Interessengruppen) genutzt wird.
Im Gegensatz zu Chatter ist Yammer nicht integriert in die internen Prozesse (Sales, Service ..) – doch dies kann sich mit den angestrebten Integrationsmöglichkeiten ändern.
Jedenfalls zeigt sich, dass Microblogging im Kontext von Organisationen eine zunehmend wichtige Rolle spielt.
